How it started
BiruniMap started in Zurich. A small group of Iranians were helping each other find things: a Farsi-speaking doctor, a Persian grocery, somewhere convenient.
What began as a local effort grew into a mission: if we were doing this for each other in Zurich, Iranians everywhere needed the same thing. Today the map covers Iranian-owned businesses and professionals across 50+ countries.
